Ummmm....yes we do...take Virginia for example. Everyone arrested goes before a magistrate to be made aware of their charges and issued/denied a bond. From there you're taken to a detention center were you appear before a general district court judge within 3 days for another bond hearing if the magistrate denied bond or a bond reduction hearing. .....call is most definitely a scam though.
Message left about a federal charges will be filed in a couple of hours, must call back. This is the third day I have received this call. The grammar is very poor in the message.
Called me 6/8/16 at 9:42am. Did not answer. Left a cutoff robo message that said "...federal crimimal offense. This is the final attempt to reach you. To know my case number and speak to federal agent, call back on 315-207-4446". Obviously a scam.
