Keep getting unwanted calls stating they are with the Div. of Crime and Investigation. Heavy indian accent lots of background noise. Threatening with law suits and courtroom appearances and very rude also very relentless. Have been harassing with their continued unwanted calls.
Continue to get calls from people in a loud call center saying they are legal representative for a lawsuit against my ss number and bank account. They have called me at work several times. I told them to quit that I did not have any outstanding loans on the interenet and to leave me alone. They then hang up and will call back and use profanity to me. SCAM I looked up there numbers and its a landline with several other numbers to go with it.
They made threats toward my family and said I owed a debt in which I DO NOT. THIS IS A SCAM! I've reported them to the FTC and the FBI. If the harrassment continues, I will call local law enforcement. One of the tips I read online with a harrassing caller is in hopes of getting them to stop you say things like "Operator this is the call" or "Begin trace" - they should hang up and hopefully not call back...
