Foreign gentleman.. hard to understand.. says he is from ROGERS CANADA and needed to confirm the information on file for Rogers and to discuss my phone and internet needs....... I hung up as ROGERS CANADA is not my provider and the phone number is a NEW YORK exchange not CANADA
I am on the no call list in Canada. I have gotten gotten several calls from this area- and can't make out what the company is- heavy accent. It sounds like either Rogers or might be Bell. I have asked them not to call again- as I am in some health issues and cannot afford to miss calls- sometimes important ones have no caller ID. I am a senior.
I would suggest that you purchase an answering machine, use it to screen calls so you're not running to the phone every time it rings, if you don't recognize the caller then don't pick up the phone,
also add caller I.D. to your phone service (assuming you don't already have it) that way you can see the caller on your phone's display, again if you don't recognize the caller or # on the screen let the machine take the call. If it is a prank call or MLM (mullti level marketer..*junk caller*) they will not leave a message on a machine, they will just hang up.
