ph.no 315-228-0552. i was told i had won a free astrology reading. because i know that astrology, requires your birthdate, time and place of birth, and because i know that they can look up my name from my phone number. i refused to give any info and hung up.
with my date of birth/location and my name, i could easily become a victim of identity theft. don't tell unknown callers anything personal..no matter how free or good an offer is.
not sure if it was a call centre, but the person was using skype or something to make the call. it was very broken up..and they wanted me to have a pen and paper. i assume it was for me to write down a number or something so i could get my FREE astrology reading.
i am reporting this to the rcmp. it has too much potential to do too much harm to trusting innocent people.
