Robo call informing us, in threatening tone of voice, that a lawsuit had been filed against us by the IRS and we just better call the 315 number. IRS does not call. They will send you a letter if they have something to say to you.
Got a call with a recorded message (That says there is a warrant in my name from the internal revenue that has a lawsuit and to call them right away. If that was true were is my letter that should have came in the mail telling me.)
They just called me and said that I had a warrant for my arrest for the IRS. Read off my personal information to me to verify who I was. I felt like it was a scam. So I told them that they can keep talking because I'm on my way to my local police department and they can talk to them. The guy on the other line called me an a****** and hung up on me. They had me scared because I didn't know what this was for but I believe it's a scam. I talked to the police and they told me to report it on the IRS website.
