Interesting--I have no idea what a "V number" is. We got a phone call from this number on January 24 at 3:42 in the afternoon, but the Caller-ID said "Eric Sullivan," and there was no "V." However, we don't pick up on phone calls when we don't know the caller (our mantra: "If it's legitimate, they'll leave a message"), so I had sort of assumed it was a wrong number. But I came on here to this, my most helpful website, just to check, and now I see it really is a junk call. I hope Eric Sullivan isn't some poor legitimate person whose phone number has been spoofed . . . but I'm very glad we didn't answer.
However, what is a V number?
The V number is date exact time of day machine number of telemarketers / debt collector / etc... by referencing that number it can be back traced to corresponding phone number.
Not that it will be, just that it can be.
