I received an email from this company claiming that they are taking me to court for a loan from cash advance america not sure if this is for real or fraud any answers to this will be greatly appreciate it
Emails mean NOTHING!!! Demand written proof of the debt---not a fax, phone call or email. This is a scam to extort money from you. You will not be arrested, etc.
I just got an email stating that I was being sued for not paying a payday loan back. I do not know of this company. I called them and they stated if I did not setup payments they would contact the courts and my employment. What should I do? Should I setup payments?
Did not answer and glad that I didn't after reading these Posts. Don't really know just how anyone could fall for this type of scam in the first place.
