Just got another call and this time I called the number back and they had all my info as I applied for an online payday loan. They say I owe money to one and that they are trying to collect. Well I know for a fact that I do not owe any payday loans at this time so it's definitely a scam. Some people have numerous outstanding payday loans and don't remember who they borrowed from so they end up sending these people monies to get them off their backs when they don't even know who they are representing.
I just got the same call from an indian guy named David Smith saying that my attourney needed to call him back and if he didn't hear from me all he can do is wish me good luck in the matter at hand
I got the same call but called his bluff and got mad and hung up on me. Sooooooo being the kind and gentle man I am I called him back and told him what opening in his body he could put his [***] in. Then I calle my states AG office and reported him as a scam. They are taking over the situtation now.
I received the same message this morning asking me what is my attorneys name so I said for what, Mark Smith said that I filled out an application in September 2008. Mark said since I did not pay the 300 dollars back now I owe 890 dollars. If I didn't pay it while we were on the phone he's going to process this and I will either get a subpeona at my door or the police will either pick me up from work or my home and take me to jail. And yes he also left a nasty message on my answering machine that I saved of course. So Mr. Mark Smith you can kiss my black a......
