I get a call from these folks at least twice a week I like to play along with them and tell them, it's about time you called, I leed them on, once they catch on I'm that messing with them they hang up. They want access to my computer lol ya Right!!! Here's my Ssn too!!!
Got a call yesterday. Lady said there was something wrong with my computer which I haven't turned on for nearly a month. I have learned that these types of callers want remote access to your computer to fix an imaginary problem. Don't do it! Hang up on the jerks.
I have received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone. I thought I blocked the number the first time but forgot to do so and they called 2nd time. A man with a heavy accent said he was with Windows, you could hear noise in the background from other scammers making calls. 1st time he called I told him he was not with Windows and hung up. 2nd time he called about a week later I knew it was the same scammer, he said the reports they received from my computer indicated some files were corrupt and my computer could crash any time. I hung up and blocked the number. Please do not give these criminals any info!
