I get a call from these folks at least twice a week I like to play along with them and tell them, it's about time you called, I leed them on, once they catch on I'm that messing with them they hang up. They want access to my computer lol ya Right!!! Here's my Ssn too!!!
Have gotten calls from 315-665-5113, caller ID reads "unavailable". They leave no message & when answered there is noise in background but nothing is said.
CONFUSED MAN WITH INDIA ACCENT CALLED HE SAID THAT HE WAS FROM MICROSOFT COMPUTER COMPANY AND THAT MY COMPUTER CALLED HIM, HMM, FUNNY I TOLD HIM I DO NOT HAVE A COMPUTER AND THAT MY WASHER AND DRYER ARE HAVING AN AFFAIR ALONG WITH MY REFRIDGERATOR IS RUNNY AWAY AS WE SPEAK. HE HUNG UP. YOU COULD HEAR THAT IT WAS A CALL CENTER BACK ROUND NOISE .HAVE FUN PEOPLE WITH THESE CALLERS GIVE THEM HELL. LIKE SAY STUPID STUFF BACK TO THEM THEY WILL STOP CALLING WHEN YOU ACT NUTS.
Someone keeps calling me 3-4 times a day claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that I have major viruses in my computer along with being hacked. They will instruct you to go to a website which allows them access to your computer. I have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling me but to no avail. It's a complete scam. I contacted Microsoft and they said they would never call. After the conversation, they try to get you to buy an expensive "vital" program and get really angry when you say no.
