Invest in a call blocker and do not pick up o n numbers you do not recognize.  There's no way to stop the calls from being initiated.

Pretending to be a law office and attempting to extort money.

Someone called Jason continues to leave a message which says "This message is intended for you the very second you receive this message. I need you or your leading attorney of record to return the call The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is Jason. And the line to my division is 315-714-8802, I'll repeat.
If I don't hear from you -YOU will be the one who will pay the legal consequences if as the situation unfolds on you. Good bye -best of luck"

Now has started to call my direct line at work... what a pain and a nusance. Thank Goodness for Caller ID.

This person calls every 3 to 6months out of a year with threats of legal action... I don't even call back because what Indian,  Palestinian, Pakistanis, Arab or any one from that culture is named damn Jason?
