Called and wanted to discuss my Con Edison electric bill. For fun I should have asked them what the account number was. My electric is included in my rent so I don't have a Con Ed account. They are not a legitimate company to work with, if they have to lie to get your business.
Bill collectors aren't covered by the no-call list, nor are thieves. Unless you know this number is actually working and belongs to this caller, you probably won't have much luck reporting them. Bet on it being a dummy to thwart tracing and either block or completely ignore it. You might also get the wrong person with the caller spoofing a real number.
