Between 12:54 PM- 5:11PM today I have received 7 calls from this number. The first time I answered, a man with a very thick East Indian accent is telling me about viruses on my computer and he is calling to help. I told him, its funny that he is calling when I dont have internet and haven't used my computer in months. He gets silent then hangs up. Even call after that is dead silence then a recording saying "Sorry, good bye"
THE WINDOWS SCAM. I was expecting a call-back and unfortunately answered this unknown number. Heavily accented man began the "Windows" computer scam spiel and hung up the second I told him to take me off their list immediately. I'm guessing this is the follow up after weeks of twice to thrice daily (blocked) calls from this incomplete robo-call number: 15-875-4550. This (surely spoofed) number from Geneva, NY also has come in multiple times per day lately: 315-789-9508. Same scammers, I assume, since only the last 2 digits are changed from the one I'm reporting today.
This number calls me at least 15 times a day.... There is never anyone on the other end of the line it's total silence. When I called the number back sometimes it rings continuously. And sometimes it says this number is not a working number. But yet it calls me all day long.
Seriously something needs to be done about these people .. We've been receiving relentless calls from this New York number for several days . Mostly no one on the other end of the line until today 3-8-16 when a heavily "I'm guessing " middle eastern man who said he represented Micro Soft proceeded to tell me every time I go on line I am downloading viruses and other nasty programs on to my laptop . .when I said 'Oh No what should I do ?" (knowing it is a scam) he proceeded to tell me to go to my laptop open it up and STICK MY FIGURES UP MY A$$ ! then quickly hung up
