They called twice today on the same number, I wasn't home and once this morning, I was gone then too. I'M filing a complaint. This is No IRS lawsuit and the IRS does not call you if there was. It's all BS- They also called on another number, 260--213-4106- It's all recorded message and robo calls which are illegal.
Unavailable also sends up a flag, scam and with no message on my answering machine scam 2.
I keep getting calls from different numbers, but it's always the same voicemail that they leave. It's a recording telling me that a law suit has been filed against me by the IRS, and to call the number back for more information, but pretty sure this is not legit.
I got a call from 315-825-4201 and 260-213-4106 both saying it's from the IRS Internal Revenue Service and that a lawsuit is being filed and to call back. The 315 # is Syracuse and it rings twice and goes "dead". The 260 # is Indiana and it rings and then it's a Verizon Wireless recording saying the number has been changed or disconnected, etc.
My grandmother receives calls from several 315 area code numbers daily telling her there is a lawsuit against her and the IRS are going to come and arrest her..as much as I assure her this is a scam it continues to confuse her and stress her heart..
