They called me 6 times today. I answered on the 4th time they hung up. I answered again and they said hello then hung up. I answered the last time and they didn't speak English.
I just received a call from this number. I answered and it was someone with a strong accent- not a big deal just an observation- in a very loud place- sounded like they were on a street somewhere. Claimed they were from the government and I was receiving a "$9,000 grant for paying my taxes, not filing for bankruptcy and not having a criminal record." Wow right! What a great government we have. I could receive my money in 3 ways- 1. Cash in hand at a western union. 2. Directly to my bank account. 3. In a credit card. Very forcefully asking me which option I wanted. I asked if I could choose later they basically said no- I said the 3rd option. They said ok what card would you like it on? I said oh it's not going to be mailed to me? And click they hung up. Basically a spam call.
I had the same thing happen to me Emy they just called me with the same [***] glad I looked up the number and found This. People are terrible DONT FALL FOR THE [***]!
