Call received from 3159447428 with caller ID saying Peter Demasi. He mentioned issues with my Microsoft and I said, "Oh okay?" amused and placed him on speaker so my husband could hear, but then the line went dead. My guess is I just gave consent to some mess I should've just ignored, for sake of proof.
Will monitor my accounts for the rest of my life like a hawk, thanks to this. They have my recorded "Oh okay". I may be screwed.
Just received similar message from 315-944-7428 and as soon as he said he was with Microsoft, I knew there was something up. I figured I'd play along, only he could play my game. After a minute or 2 of screwing around with him, he told me I was wasting his time...oh wait, I wasn't aware that I'm not supposed to be concerned with wasting the time of a piece of garbage who tries to manipulate people. I told him he's a special type of stupid and he then told me to use a hammer on my computer and to kiss my mouse <---REALLY? Yeah sure, I'll add that to my list of things to do. He then hung up, which saddened me because I wasn't done playing
CID: Peter Demasi I blocked it immediately, so he didn't get a chance to say anything. However, these "Microsoft" calls have been coming in from all over the US for quite some time. Has Microsoft been hacked? Er, excuse me, compromised? They may not know it. Or maybe they are rogue ex-employees....
