Got a robo call message from the "IRS" claiming they are filing a lawsuit against me. Call disconnects before a call back number is given. They do not ask for anyone in particular. First clue this is a scam, because the IRS will NEVER call you! They only send out certified letters through US mail. I also doubt that the caller ID would show "Cell Phone, KS. Block and ignore the calls. Total scammer!!
Rec'd call, but did not answer, earlier today. No msg left. Searched online. No info found.
Have rec'd two addl calls since. Didn't answer. Msg left was 'partial msg'. Missing first part as to who called & why I need to return call. Only rec'd phone# to call. Which, of course, I most definitely do...NOT! Hahaha!
Received 4 calls from this IRS-scam number today, April 7. Each time they left a message about the IRS lawsuit. We're on the do-not-call list which, apparently, is also bogus.
