Privacy Manager is a free service from AT&T. I have it on my home phone and basically what it does it keeps some unwanted people from calling you. If they happen to do get through, this "Privacy Manager" will call you and announce you have a call. You have 3 different options: Accept the call, reject the call or tell the person on the other line that you arent accepting sales calls.
I keep receiving calls from this number. It is a privacy manager number, and when I press 1 to take the call I get a message that the caller is no longer on the line. A recording keeps saying call 800 and nothing else.
I have no idea to whom this number belongs to or better yet why they are calling my number, If they expect to speak to me then they need to say who they are and the reason for the call or they can forget about me answering their call ......... what gives them the right to just call and call i think someone needs to do something about this
