Ok, here's something to do to make you feel better about scammer calls like this - especially if you get multiple calls from one number. Check to see if you phone service has a feature called selective call forwarding or something similar. This feature lets you enter a group of numbers (usually 20 or so) and have them forwarded to one number you choose. Now, pick a number to have the scammer calls forwarded to. You might Google the number for a government agency whose job is to protect us from these types of calls, or the number of a politician who should be working to eliminate the calls. Then enter the phone number from the scam call, in this case 213-257-5233, to be forwarded to that number. The call will be rerouted automatically. You won't hear a ring, and the party at the forwarded number won't see your number.
Who knows, maybe a government official or politician will get a free cruise...
