I filed a complaint against Livingston and Brooks Mediation naming representative Karen Plack and Melissa Williams as representatives of the "company" on consumerfinance.gov for this extortion scheme. The investigation is underway.
Same here, I was called today 1/16/15 saying that I was being charged with wire fraud due to a payday loan that was unpaid and needed to prove that it was paid. I know it was paid over 2 years ago.
They (Amber) said that it was going to be sent to the local district attorney if I did not have an attorney information for them. They had made a recording of the fact that I had paid the bill in full.
It also referred to the Indian person in the first instance when this thing started, and they were A SCAM.
I have a fax # of 8 866 365-9092 that they wanted me to send them information regarding the collection agency that I paid off my bill to. I am not sending them a thing.
