It is the Sedgewick County Sheriffs Benefit Association they are soliciting in the yearly fund drive.

There is no Sedgwick County Sheriff's Association - this name is used to scam.  There is a Sedgwick County Sheriff's Benefit Association.  Also the telephone number does not match those shown on my computer for the legitimate association.

I answered, a female on the other end asked for my husband by name. When I said he was not here, can I take a message?, she hung up.

Guess the scammers or scummers are looking for and using old numbers! Wonder what debt collector likes to use this tactic?
