It is a scam!. I called SW Nat'l Bank. It started 3 days ago. They are trying to get your personal information from you!. DO NOT respond or give them ANY information! They have been reported to the authorities and will be prosecuted. They didn't hack anything to get your phone numbers. It is random. They are calling children's cell phones.
Received a text from this number that said: Southwest National Bank Alert: Your card has been deactivated. Please call 316-765-0448. I don't HAVE a Southwest National Bank account. Reverse lookup says the number is owned by KMC Telecom III.
Just got the same text, but it came from a number with a New York area code. Said to call 316-765-0448. Looked up the other number and there were no other complaints about it...kinda worries me, because I don't have a Southwest National Bank account, either.
I also got a text message saying Southwest National Bank Alert: Your card has been deactivated Please call 316-765-0448. ... I also don't have a Southwest National Bank account. I did a google and it shows a cell phone number in Butler county in Kansas. Should I be worried?
