I got a voicemail saying "Barton Graham & Associates. You have a pending case in our office that requires your immediate attention. Dial 1 to speak with a mediator" I called and left a message last week stating no one at the residence has a pending case. Received another call on 5/8/17 so I called it back. A woman asked what my number was so I told her. I started to explain that no one I know does business with them, while explaining she hung up on me. I called back and got the same woman and I asked her why she hung up on me and proceeded to tell me that she didn't have time to here my story. I said as much as you call and wake my wife who works graveyard who is trying to sleep that she should hear me out so she wont waste her time calling the wrong person. She hung up again. This time I call back and demand to speak to a manager. I asked who hung up on me she said I spoke with a woman named Robin and asked if I wanted to speak with her I said yes she transferred me then I hear Robin laughing and she hung up again. So I call back again and this time Robin picks up. I asked why she repeatedly hung up on me? She said she cant talk to me all day, she couldn't babysit me and hold my hand! Wow they called me. This is the definition of harassment!
I have had the same thing happening to me. Robin called me and said the same thing to me and then was threatening, She asked for 300.00 a month but never asked for a bank account or anything and is asking me for a debt i had on a bankruptcy years ago. I have been trying to figure out if this is a scam because i just feel like something isnt right. She told me a 3rd party collector would be contacting me by email or mail for details i have heard absolutely nothing until she calls again today. So i think i feel confident in just ignoring the calls and chucking this up to fraud, i looked on google and it says fraud and extortion. Thank you for your imput.
