I keep getting the same harassing voicemails. At first, they were just calling my cell. Now, they got my job phone number. I've been working here for less than a year. Has anyone got their address? What can we do about this? This same voice called me from the 972 area code and now from the 317 number. It's hard blocking the number when they call from different numbers. This time, the guys name was Clyde Walker.
This man, Jeff or David Parker, keeps calling my husbands phone, asking for me. He says he is a law firm (Really, YOU"RE a law firm) and says he will have me arrested. As a law abiding citizen, this really amuses me. I am not a stupid person, and have informed this man of that many times. He even called 13 times while I was in labor, and yelled at me for not listening to him. These scumbags really need to go back to india, or where ever they are from. I will never, EVER fall for this [***].
It is absolutely amazing ! For a supposed "legal firm" , you would think that they would actually have someone read the script that could speak clear english. I got the same "Good Luck" speech as well... I dont answer and will now be blocking that number.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
This is a scam. What a horrible person, he said his name was Chris Willcox He called my cell and my work number stating there was a lawsuit against me. Once he got done with what he was saying he could not provide me with the appropriate information to understand hat he was calling about. He also told me that my current job would know about my criminal background, and that I would be taken to "downtown" and held for 30 days. Ummm, my company does a background check and knows I do not have a criminal background. I asked him since he was with a "law firm" what documentation he has that that shows they have contacted me previously to resolve the issue at hand. He could not answer. Then I asked him what Law frim he was with and he hung up. I called him back and he answered then started yelling at me and hung up. Then I called again and my number was blocked so I called from my work phone and this it when it got nasty. When he answered the phone he stated that he was someone else and just the receptionist of the company and that everyone else was in a meeting. I asked him the name of the company and he stated he could not provide this information. I then informed him I knew he was the same person and asked why he was trying to scam someone. He told me "because you are a nobody and you deserve it"??!?!?!?! I then asked what is the name of the company he works for and he said it was "the company that f***ed your mother". Then he started saying things I could not understand and then he hung up. Very scary!! and A SCAM!! Run people this is not good.
