A digital voice message, not human, calls to say I am being sued by the IRS, nothing more and to call this number for more detail. IRS never contacts by phone in these matters, always by mail. SCAM!!! Number Blocked
scam call claims you are being sued by the IRS. Called back sounds like a call center with a bunch of [***] in the back ground placing calls. Mostly no reply when someone answers, sometimes they answers with a thick middle eastern accent "Hello internal revenue service", usually no answer though. It's a scam, they want you to pay a tax bill using western union. Losers.
I have been contacted by the IRS by phone in the past, but it was only after corresponding by mail. The sleezeballs calling from this number are information mining. Block the number and DO NOT call the number they give you.
Received a call from this number. It was a robo call. I have worked with the IRS before and it is always through correspondence and not through a robo call. This is a scam. Be ware and block the number.
