Guy called to tell me my computer has error messages. I told him this is a scam call because I've received 3 of these calls today!! No one has any information about your computer and any errors popping up. Tried calling back after he hung up on me and number was disconnected. Seriously can barely take this stupid calls anymore
I got a call from this number stating "I am a technician and I am calling about your computer". The caller had a very heavy Indian accent and the number was listed as "Indiana". I said "how did you get this number". He said "it doesn't matter how you got this number". I said "I am on the do not call list and you don't have a right to call me. Please take me off your list." He said "Oh I will call back. I will call you all the time." I said "let me speak to a supervisor". He said "okay, let me transfer you." He put me on hold for a second and pick back up. I asked if he was a supervisor and he said he was. I asked his name and he said "why do you need to know my name." I stated "because I want to know who I am talking to." He stated "[***] you, you are a [***]". I hung up.
Just as the other person noted, guy called me with a thick Indian accent asking about "my computer." Now, I built my own computer so I know this literally couldn't possibly be any sort of manufacturer calling about errors, and I know damn well Microsoft wouldn't call me about errors- especially since I haven't been experiencing any errors as of recently. Anyway, I asked the guy what "errors" he was referencing, and he said it was related to my operating system booting up from my hard drive. I literally don't even have a hard drive in my computer- I have an SSD- so I told him to stop scamming people and hung up.

Had missed call at 918a. Name on called ID says James R Ball. Ph no 317-450-0863. I don't know that name, or #! Googled it, this no seems to be spoofed! Number also appears to belong to guy named Chad in Indiana. I think all these bogus scams is getting out of control! Sad
