I have calls from this number, but my phone does not allow pressing numbers 1 or 2 on an inoming call - I just get a response from my phone service. Will the calls stop if I continue not answering?
I received a call on 1/25/13 at 2:34 pm regarding lowering my tax debt. At first it was a recording that I get all the time. Press 1 to speak to a representative or press 2 to be removed from the listing. I pressed 1 to see what this tax reduction was all about. A man gets on the phone, does not identify himself or who he works for. I let him know that I did owe taxes and was on a payment schedule. He said the amount I owe was less than what his company would charge. I didn't owe enough. I then tried to ask to be removed from their call list and he just hung up on me during the sentence.

Hangup call to my ans mach. I'm sure it's a scam. My equipment has the ability to block 85 calls. I don't want to waste space on my machine, so I won't block it unless they call one more time. If, as another person has stated, it's about a tax bill, sorry, they have the wrong person. I get a BIG FAT REFUND every year. So try your scam somewhere else!!
