Got a call from this number.... Person said their name was ETHAN....Sounded like a pedophile with his voice disguised as a little boy trying to get information from my child... Questions like "what's your name? where do you live? i can come over now and play till 7 because Church Start at 7". Every time they spoke there was a clicking sound before they answered....Almost as if the person had a machine they were using to disguise their voice.
BEWARE and do not have your children give out any information to anyone that calls....
The Police was called and if any more instances, the police will do a trace of phone records.
"Officer Michael John" lol called me today looking for a female, (I'm not stating her name). He said he needed to speak to her immediately regarding some trouble she's in on a legal matter. He had a heavy Indian accent and I can hear the call center in the background. These guys call everyday from a call group in India. They were clever today but not enough. They said they were with "Anderson Law Firm". I knew he'd call back so I hung up and called the real "Anderson Law Firm". The receptionist was filled in on what's happenning and she was already aware that someone is fronting as their firm.
"Officer John" called back asking once again. I called him out on the fraud and told him what I've done. So far, I haven't heard back.
They call my company everyday looking for various employees. I have about 15 different aliases they use for names and twice as many "complanies" they represent. They spoof several different phone numbers.
Bottom line: The real "Anderson Law Firm" said they NEVER call people asking for money! DO NOT give them ANY information.
I also got a phone call today from this same number and he also had a thick Indian accent. He posed as someone interested in the kind of health care software/hardware I use in my office. I told him the type and then he said he was with a competitor and he was just trying to see if I used their system. He asked if I went to a specific conference in Az last May and then said "Thank you very much, have a blessed day". But he knew me by name and the type of business I do (which is very specialized).
Unidentified calle from this number called at 11:34 P.M.!
I was sleeping soundly at the time and did not pick up the call.
No message left.
Returned call next morning and got a recording "please enter the magic no." - what ever that is.....
