Been getting the same calls. It's either this number or multiple other ones starting with the 317 area code. I haven't been able to answer my phone for over two years because of the so-called non-profits, charities or calls from numerous police organizations for all kinds of issues. All legal I am told. Children's charities - various, Teddy Bear stuff, FOP donations, State Police for various things, and on and on. I was getting up to or over twenty calls a day starting at eight am to nine thirty at pm. I set and wait for my needed health care and hospital return calls and never fails to be one of these jokers wanting money. Some being nasty, forceful, and calls right back after I tell them my issues and not to call me back again ever. I have even got calls from out of state saying they are cops or some other charity. Phone company tells me it's legal and the agencies or non-profit paid telemarketers who are handsomely paid for making such calls refuse to listen to any complaints when told to not call.

All of it should be illegal including all the legalized forms of harassment. Since the advent of stupid cell phones all the people dialing the wrong numbers constantly is bad enough all hours of the day and night let alone deal with the above. My number hasn't been listed for many years, like thirty, at my expense. And then I have to resort to answering machines and waiting if someone answers or leaves a proper message before I pick up. So I Googled this number to see if anyone else is having the same issues and voila they are.

It should also be illegal to have our private numbers sold to all the other charities even though they claim they don't, they do.

Another scam for all of them. A well connected person or retired type starts a telemarketing business for say the FOP. Of course. They contract out to raise say like twenty thousand dollars. Anything they can raise above that they keep as well as their hiring amount or charges. If they raise 500000.00 above their intended mark... it's theirs to keep. Hence the hard sales tactics and harassment. But legal. I know this because of my searching out the who is who locally and talking to the workers hired on to do this. But it's supposed to be a big secret and will denied if you ask any of them. After I found out where they were and who was behind it locally in the 812 area they changed office space and I don't know where they are working out of now. It was the local FOP back rooms.

Enough is really enough, and tired of being scammed and harassed by so-called officials and greedy using people.
