She said I had placed an order and was calling to follow up. Haven't placed an order or even called the company.

These people called why I was on the phone I didn't recognize the number so I did not answer it

Call from Copper Chef. I began placing an order for their cookware and then changed my mind and closed the browser. They called to talk me into completing the purchase.

Received call about me ordering the power air fryer and i changed my mind.  He offer to take $30 off if i ordered on line,   no way

I responded to a TV ad regarding a product called So Clean.  I told them I couldn't purchase it at this time.  Their number was 800-890-0587.  The next morning I received a call from 317-853-7014 inquiring about my interest in the same product.  I turned them down almost immediately.
What I'm worried about is:  They asked me if I were the person who made an inquiry about the product before, and I automatically responded, "yes".  I heard there is a scam out there that entails them to record a person saying "yes", so they can use that "voice" consent for their own purposes.  Anybody know if this is the case with this same number??
