I just received a call from 317-986-4473, when I answered no one said anything. I tried checking the phone # and it came up not a legit #. All these scammers need to be jailed.
They said it was a police dept raising money for an abused children Christmas gifts drive. They asked me for a credit card number or someone coming to my house to collect the money, I said no to both, told them to send me a bill and I would check their credentials before sending any donations.
I got the same call on 9/25/15. They told me to write a check to IPOA. I wish these low life people will get caught and put in jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They said they were from the Indianapolis police department raising money for abused children. They asked me for my credit card number and when I said no, they said to write a check to IPOA and tape it to my door. They knew my address. Very scary!!!!!! I hope these low life people get caught and put in jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
