I picked up the phone today because it is coming from my local area code. It is a robocall advertising medic alert bracelets. This number has been calling me several times a week. I just got a new phone system so I can program this one in as a robocall. It's too bad I haven't figured a way to block it yet.
These people are a pain in the [***]. I stayed on the line and got an option to press 5 to be removed. I pressed 5 and got 4 more calls on successive days. The last time, I stayed on and acted interested. Got a Phillipino named Gloria, who passed me to her supervisor when I said I wanted one of these buttons. Next woman came on, and there was a guy in the background prompting her what to say. Ultimately, she hung up on me after I became somewhat offensive, but not before I got a call-back number to customer service, which is:
(855) 638-4744
The thing is some cheap bluetooth button that connects to your cell phone, which they give you for free if you sign up for $34.95/month monitoring service.
the first time they called, no one answered. The second time, they were trying to sell us a medical alert bracelet. My husband hung up on them. They call at least once a day or every other day. They are a nuisance.
