This caller claims he is calling on behalf of National Insurance Foundation . Wrong! This is a marketing company that sells leads / prospect to insurance agents based on your zip code. If you don't believe it , you can try giving him a fake name such as John Smith and fake DOB & you will receive multiple calls from your local insurance agents trying to quote your home , auto & even life within a few hours.
Apparently , those scums sell your info like $12-$17 to multiple insurance agents. True low life.
I got a call from this number too about 5 minutes ago. It came up as originating from Homer, LA. I don't answer calls that I can't identify the source and they left no message.
I got a call from this Louisiana number a few minutes ago. He said he was from the national insurance foundation and that he worked with companies and could save me money. He asked if I have had car insurance for 6 months and asked for my zip code and name and whether I was a home owner. When I told him I wasn't interested he promptly hung up on me. I hope this won't lead to identity theft!
This number keeps calling and never leaves a message. I don't answer calls that have no identifier. If it's important, they can leave a message. I have blocked this number as of the last call from them.
