They gave me the same number to call. I feel so dumb and dont know what to do now that everyone says it's a scam. I kept asking more question because it seemed like a fraud but I didnt want to pass it up if it was real. :(
This is a massive scam. I picked it up just out curiousity but don't know this number. It says on my caller ID it's from Lousiana then the lady on the phone says she's a rep of government of United States & am qualified for $7000 grant because I have no bankruptcy etc. yet you can hear a massive loud background & she can't give a number to call back. She tells you that you can only use it for renovation etc. then specificially ask you what you'll use it for to get info and makes you say okay. She also said "Your grant money is in the Federal bank of New York & can get your money in 1 hr but you can only transfer it wiring bank to bank or through a credit card" What an IDENTITY THEFT SCAM!! better report it to the POLICE
These people keep calling me trying to give me a car loan. I asked then told then demanded for them to stop calling me but they refuse. I think that they are called American Auto Loan.
They called me twice today and once yesterday. Yesterday they said in a cartoonish foreign accent that I qualify for $7k from "the government", then they called earlier today, asked for me and hung up. Then they just called about 10 minutes ago and hung up as soon as I answered. Seems like a bad prank, but seeing as they call so regular it should qualify as harassment. This is not what I have a cell phone for.
