I made the mistake of answering because it was a local number. The person on the line was what sounded like an Indian speaking guy. I could barely understand anything and the reception was bad so he said he would call back. I'm blocking the number.
They just called my cell and didn't leave a message. I'm on the do not call list and it makes me mad that the last 3 calls to my cell phone are calls like this. I pay for my cell phone minutes. My cell phone company only lets me block 5 calls for free.
Like Sharon, I'm on the DO NOT CALL list. Being from my local area code I answered thinking it a friend who got a new number, etc. they heard me say 3X hello and they didn't answer! Screw 'em! Next time they get the whistle blow.

She said something about a ninety minute tour of their showroom. She didn't know my age and never once said my name and almost every sentence ended with "okay?". I hung up and was immediately called back. Didn't answer that time.
Why do companies hire people who speak English as a second language to call people? Almost every telemarketing call I receive lately has someone I can't understand or a computer recording.
