My Caller ID shows: Shreveport LA 550-3652 When I answered my phone, a recording came on asking for me. I answered this one because I do get medical calls from Shreveport concerning appointments. When I verified my name, a woman got on the line telling me that the call was being recorded for "my protection" and that she had to verify her clients information. I asked who her client was and she said, (what sounded like)"NBSC" . I asked who that is and again she said she had to verify their information before she could answer that question. I shouted at her that I would not give information to someone who I do not know. She told me I didn't have to shout and again stated she needed to verify her client's information. I told her I would not tell her anything and she stated since I would not cooperate, the call was ending. I called the number back, and to no surprise, there was complete silence. Their phone did not ring from my side. Might have known this is another scam of some sort looking for my information. I WILL NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!
The last couple / few YEARS I get daily calls from 318-550 --- the last digits vary. I've accidentally answered at times in the past and it's either scammers or bottom feeder debt collectors at best, looking for someone else. They never stop no matter what I tell them.
Caller would not leave a message. When I have answered these unknown number in the past they purported to be a debt collector and need to verify information. This immediately sends up a red flag with me and I terminate the call.
