Robo-call. Message claimed to be IRS calling with "final notice" that IRS was about to file a lawsuit against me. (Rec'd on cell phone, my home # is the ONLY one the IRS might actually have via my CPA.) I did call the number back. I got a gentleman in a call center who had a thick Indian accent. He maintained that he WAS with the IRS in Washington DC. I told him he was NOT with the IRS, and had called from a New Orleans number. He insisted on verifying the number I got the message on. Instead, I told him to note the phone number I was calling from in his caller ID, as it belongs to my law firm. Then he told me to hang up and not call him again.
