You realize they have telephone service in India, right? What makes you think your PDL thug callers need to be deported back to where *they already live* and called you from?!

3 times on my cell phone than at my place of employment as well...I asked the foreign gentlement what it was in regards too. You have a criminal case filed against you. I said what criminal case and to get a life and stop scamming people.
Received phone calls on my cell with in 2 minutes of each. Did not pick up on any of them. Than received call at my place of employmenet. Whan I asked what it was in regards to he responded very rudely that it was in regards to a criminal case against me. Obviously he was foreign. I told him that I know how criminal cases work and that he needs to stop scamming people.
This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
ABC News released an investigative report on this scam a year ago:
Got a call form these people who sounded like they were from India.They read me an affidavit that said I had committed a fraud. I was transferred to someone who then started telling me I was a fraud and should be kicked out of the United States. They had the last four numbers of my social security number, my cell phone number and my gmail address.
Got a call from this number it had a + in front of the number. It's location was in the Netherlands. It had my entire Social Security number and my complete home address. When I told what to do with himself and don't call my number any more he hung up after three calls on my cell phone.
