Missed a call from this number. They left a message stating her name was Tracie from pretrial intervention??? I think that's what i heard. It is the same old same old i have a document on my desk for a trial you or your attorney can call me today at so so number. I've had these kind of scammers before. They got me before so I know a bit better about this kind of call. After talking to State Attorney General about a similar call, the number one advice that he gave me was to educate myself about what they are calling about. Mainly is it on your credit. If you owe someone, a legit company will put it on your credit. I don't have anything on my credit. Everything has been cleared out. I had cleaned my credit myself. It was either old or wasn't mines. besides my student loans and my 2 cc which i am handling and I am monitoring my credit. He also told me that if i am being sued, no one will call me about it. They will simply serve me. This lady that called me sounded like a recording but not a machine or a robot. She didn't state who it was for or who they are calling for so for all i know, they dialed a wrong number. But I am saving the vm. I have researched this phone number and nothing is coming up on it. But i have seen other complaints with the same situations pretending they are so so from pre trial intervention and different number. I've read that a pre trial intervention is asked by your attorney for a crime you had already committed and already in trial for. I am not on trial for anything and if having a debt is a crime, well then the rest of the america is. I am not calling back simply because they didn't tell me who it was for. And ones you call them back, your phone number gets activated to the rest of the scammers, telemarketers so on so on and more phone calls will be coming. Educate yourself and don't let them pressure you in to anything. It doesn't matter what they tell you. You have the right to get a document on what they are claiming from you and who they are. Id. number, tax number etc etc. Please do not verify any info.
My husband got this call where someone was looking for me. They told him that there was a pending legal case against me. I've dealt with this type of scam before. I called the local authorities and the state line and there was nothing pending against me. I was told that you can't be threaten of legal actions via phone and to report the number to the state attorney general.
