This was a strange happenstance. I received a call from this number on my business phone. When I picked up and said the name of the business I work for, all I heard was strange music then it hung up. This was at 9:15 AM. At 9:17 AM, I received a call on my personal cell phone from the same number with no name on the CID. It said it was from Oelwein, IA. I rejected it and it went to voicemail. My phone transcribes calls so the message was as follows (any grammatical errors are from the message): Hello you have recently applied for a payday loan (I have never applied for a payday loan). Our private lenders have lowered the requirements for loan qualification. Your application is been reviewed by our largest lenders and you are now preapproved for our highest gold level (Yippee!) of 1500 (That little?) to get your cash now. Simply go to wepayUSA.com and enter promo code ##### (Sorry, keeping that number secret). Thats www.wepayUSA.com and enter promo code #### (Totally different number than the first one). Congratulations from wepayUSA.com." The message is not odd in itself, as I have heard this one so many times, but what was strange was the call coming to my business AND personal phones within 2 minutes of each other. It was rather disturbing because the phones are not registered to the same name. Blocked.
