Marketplace One, Cedar Rapids, IA--317-294-7021. We have been receiving at least 3 calls a day from this outfit in Cedar Rapids, IA, requesting to speak to our daughter, became concerned, & finally got to the bottom of it. This is a call center, where, if you wish to annoy the hell out of people who do not want telemarket calls, you hire them and they'll do it for you. The 3rd call today came this afternoon. My husband answered, and when they asked for daughter, he spoke in a falsetto and said he was she. It was a call from Mary Jo Kilroy's committee. She is running as a Democrat for a seat in the US Senate. He told them he wasn't going to vote for her. I don't have anything against Mrs. Kilroy, but calls such as this are annoying and frightening, especially if they are as persistent as these were. Solution: Answer the damn phone. Tell them you are whoever they are asking for. Then tell them to stop bothering you.
In the past week I have received calls from this number almost daily. They won't leave a message, and when I try to call it back I get a busy signal. I'm reporting this number to the FCC.
