Got a telemarketing call from this number. They claimed I filled out a survey online stating that I was interested in looking for a job. Entirely untrue. I have a job and I have not filled out any surveys recently. Then they tried to say "well, someone in your house may have done it." Well, no, everyone in my house is employed, and it's a cell number. So even if someone else had done it, they wouldn't have used my number.
Got a phone call today 2/25/13 from this phone number, Google search traced it to BANDWIDTH.COM in Iowa City (My iPhone CID said Iowa City as well) I'm about 99% certain that the male on their end is actually a recording. I was told I filled out a survey for employment (not true) I asked multiple times what survey / when / what company, it responded "even if you didn't take the survey would you like me to create a profile for you?" I asked multiple times who they were calling on behalf of and after multiple long pauses, it would respond completely disregarding my question. I asked "who am I speaking to" it responded " Hello, my name is... blah blah (same introduction as when I first answered)." I asked "what's 2+2" it responded " Yes..." I asked once more "who am I speaking to?" it replied "Please hold one moment, I'm still in training.." I then hung up. Telemarketing like this should be illegal.
Missed a call from this number. Called back, and got a recording saying that I had filled out a survey online, looking for a job. I own my own business, and definitely did no such thing! I hate liars -- this should be illegal.
