I received 4 calls yesterday from this phone number. The first 2 times I let it go to voicemail and got a recording saying it was Portia Mitchell with pre-trial intervention calling about a pending case in their office and needs to speak with me or my attorney immediately, if she doesn't hear from either me or my attorney she will document that I have waived my right to council and submit the case and to govern myself accordingly. So, the 3rd time I answered, it was again a recording directing me to press 1 to speak with an investigator. I did so and asked the woman why they were calling me. After looking up my phone number and verifying my name and the last 4 of my SSN (how they got this I don't know) she told me there is a pending warrant for a fraudulent check from 2011 with Online Advance LLC. I told her I've never heard of this company and never applied for a payday loan. The only loans I've ever had have been school loans. I told her there is no way I was paying for something that didn't happen. She said she would take that down as my statement and forward it to the district attorneys office where they would decide if my "case" is to go to trial, at which time I could tell my side to the judge. I said that's fine, send it through.
It's ridiculous that these scammers can call and harass people like this. I hope they don't get money out of anyone! My phone number is already on the do not call list and I will also be filing a complaint with the FCC.

Got the same call crazy people, leave us alone they said the same thing also a bank I owed , that was so funny because it was my bank they were talking about!!!! They have called 4 and 5 times a day and just now called again!!! They have a case in their office about a pre-trial heaing blah, blah, blah, stop calling !!!!!! Get a real job and stop scamming people
