Got a call from this number on my VoIP home phone in Canada. Left a one-word message on my voice-mail. "Goodbye." Has to be among the top 10 weirdest messages I've ever gotten. Beyond that, no idea who's behind this number. Next time, it goes straight to voicemail - thank you, call screen.

We have received 4 calls from this number the latest being "goodbye". The first two I answered and was asked if I had a mortgage, Being a bit hearing impaired I had difficulty in understanding caller's accent. i said no both times and hung up. A few days later my wife took a call from the same number, caller said "this is Capital Mortgage and we have a mortgage on your house". She said no and terminated the call;. I tried to call back to get a clarification, but only the phone electronic reply " the call cannotbe completed as dialled, check the number..."
I have sent an e-mail to Capital Trust in Des Moines asking about a mlortgage against our home. But no reply after 2 days..
