I got a call from this number and didn't answer. I thought it was another telemarketer. I called the number back just to be sure and it is Preferred Credit. I bought a Kirby Vac last year and had payments taken directly from my account. Their was a misunderstanding and my payment didn't go through. The man I spoke to was very nice and very helpful.
I was at my friends how (I'm only 17 don't own anything but a phone and my mom pays for that) anyway I'm sitting there and this phone number pops up the same one you guys are complaining about and this guy asked if I was a spouse to a lady named Vicky hueghes I don't know who that is and he said she a 25 year old woman, any way tell him my last name is different and he keeps trying to ask if I'm this lady's spouse finally I get mad and tell him that my name is different and I spelled it out for him. Anyway I have no clue who she is and what this guy wants so tell me what do they want with a 17 year old? (also just to verify I only answered this number once and I couldn't remember what this phone call was about)
I wonder, are you a bill collector, Juice? A couple of years ago we had a tragedy in our family and it crippled us financially. A man from a collection agency called me at work and immediately interrogated me. He tried to bully me and he insulted me more than once. I told him, please do not call me at work again. He continued to call me at work and treat me like the bubblegum on the bottom of his shoe. He had no idea what tragedy had befallen our family and he didn't care. He demanded payment. One evening he called me at home and he began to curse me out. My husband heard him from across the room and got upset. He took the phone from me and this man proceeded to curse him out. He called us white trash, lazy, and worthless. My husband called the supervisor and asked them to listen to the recorded calls that this man had made to us. Yes, I still remember his name. The supervisor said that his behavior was inappropriate and he would be reprimanded. I can't say if he was or not, but the man never called us again. We did, as a matter of fact, take care of the financial issue although we should have sued. This kind of thing happens all of the time to honest people who cannot help it. It isn't right. Many debt collectors are assuming that people are not paying because they are trying to skip out. That isn't always true. I feel sorry for people who can go to work everyday and their job is to be nasty to others. It must be a lonely life.

Amazed that they still sell those huge, clunky, heavy, outdated, overpriced Kirby and Rainbow vacuums ... a top of the line Dyson costs 1/4 as much as a Kirby and cleans better!
