Recorded message saying they were calling from my current credit card company to lower my existing rate. Press 1 for rep. I pressed 1 and asked what company they were with when the rep came on. He was clearly from another country and it sounded like a call center in India. He said "Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and about four other companies. I advised him I was on the federal do not call list and to remove me.
Cell phone rang one time then they hung up. Lots of scammers lately, some in my neighborhood getting calls claiming to be from IRS and wanting credit card number for tax debt. I hate liars, cheats, thugs.
