Recorded message telling me that they were from the IRS and that I was being sued by 4 different Federal agencies. Call them back immediately for help. smh.
This person had a heavy Indian accent and said he was calling regarding an action against me by the US Treasury. I knew this was a scam call and asked who exactly he was with. He said he is with the IRS. He said that I was being investigated for income tax evasion for misinformation on my taxes. .I asked him what year and he said my 2013 taxes. He said I made many mistakes on my 1040 form and there was a warrant for my arrest, I told him he was a liar and he said that he was sending an Federal agent to arrest me within 45 minutes and he hung up. I guess he realized he wasn't getting anywhere with me. I tried to report this to the real IRS but I cannot reach a human there. Everything is a recording. .
Got a call on my cell voice mail urging me to call back regarding an important time sensitive matter. They left a call back number twice and both times they couldn't even remember the number they called from. I'm sure it is a IRS scam. Just ask them who the president or vice president is and they will probably hang up on you. Have a nice day and let there ignorance beat them at their on game!
Got a message from this number yesterday saying the IRS is suing me, which made no sense, but I still tried calling back today. A message comes up saying the Verizon customer is not available. Obviously just someone trying to scam me. All of the other comments helped, thanks for sharing.
