I had received a text from this phone number about a month 1/2 ago. This person called themselves "Debbie Touchet" from Sonic Healthcare USA. I had recently found out this is not the person, nor the company who has been calling me. How? About a month ago, this person offered me a work-from-home opportunity with this company. They sent me 2 checks to get the supplies I needed, such as, laptop, home phone, software, etc. These checks consisted of almost $2,000 dollars a piece, so totaling roughly $4,200.00 The reason as to why they sent me a second check was because the first one had never cleared with my bank. I even asked this person, who called themselves Debbie Touchet why it would never clear. They never knew, even though they stated they are the "hiring manager." After depositing the checks through the ATM, as instructed, a week later I received a phone call from my bank stating the checks were counterfeit. The bank had asked me where I received the checks from, and why. As I had told them, the checks were for equipment needed for a job offer I had received about 5 weeks prior to this incident. I had already grown suspicious about this whole ordeal due to it sounding "too good to be true." This was in fact the case. So, after receiving this phone call from my bank and doing some more research on this company, Sonic Healthcare USA through both BBB.org and SonicHealthcareUSA.com, I came up with the real Debbie Touchet's number. I called her and asked her, "This may sound odd, but have you ever spoke with me through text messages offering me a job?" Her response was, of course, "No, we don't even have work-from-home offers." So after that, I had told her my reasoning for asking such an odd question. This company and this person is in fact all real. But the person behind this number who had texted me was not the "real deal." My conclusion to all of this, this person used a great company and a great name to use for this "scam." I was lucky enough to be very cautious by not making any purchases until those checks had cleared. I contacted the scammer and told them everything I know. Still to this day, they are trying every way possible to "send me money for supplies." There next tactic after the checks was to do a direct deposit, asking for your name, SSN, DOB, Online Bank Account Username and Password. Then, if that doesn't work they will try it through Western Union. I was very fortunate to have seen a red flag and reacting to it by not purchasing any items before the check cleared. I just hope that these people who are using the ID of a A+ Rated BBB company and a well background Debbie Touchet really didn't scam anyone. These people have a very wide variety of knowledge on this company. They sounded very legit when they were describing how awesome the company was and how much they've grown, but not legit enough to steal my ID or my money. If you are ever offered a work-from-home job, please do some research before they set you into their traps. I hope this help a little. As of right now, this is all the information I have on this number who texted me. I still don't know who the real person is hiding behind this number.

Hi I too got this same message from a so- called Debbie touchet offering me a work from home job promising me $25.00 an hour.I did an online interview with this person later they tell me they want to send me a cashier check in order for me to deposit it unto my checking account but they stress over and over again how important it us that I do not instantly cash the check but instead deposit it into my checking account, so I tell them I don't have a checking account but my fionce does then they say I can deposit it into his checking account but I tell them his bank requires all cashier checks to be verified and they still agree with that so now they are sending me a check for supplies that I will need to work from home but I am to order them from their supplier. That right there sends me a red flag if it was legitimate the company themselves would send me the supplies if they really wanted to help me work from home. These people are scammers and I really wish they would get caught. My fionce had someone send him fake money orders claiming they needed money transferred through Western union to buy art supplies and when he tried to cash them they had already been cashed and the amounts had been changed,so please be careful. All of these scams were found on craigslist.

Glad I checked his out!  I received a text from Debbie Touchet.  I didn't respond because I'm suspicious about everything now that I have submitted my "private" resume online out of desperation to find a job.  Glad I was able to access this information. Thanks for sharing!!
