Woman (Australian accent?) calling asking for my CEO by first name only (red flag) and then she said she was calling for her boss Daniel Pierce who she claimed spoke with my CEO a couple weeks ago and that she just wanted to talk to him about a couple things. I put her on hold and her companies name didn't ring a bell nor her boss. She said she's just his secretary (sounded like a busy call center to me) and that maybe what would jog his memory was that they were a resource firm, a strategic management systems company. NOPE> I put her on hold to ask and she hung up!

woman named Jessica again called for my boss by first name, since nothing has changed since the last time someone called I know they are cold calling. My boss will not take calls of this nature. When asked what the call was regarding she said it was a "courtesy call" ok, then I asked what the "courtesy call" was regarding, and she was a smarty "a courtesy call".. again, you're not going to get too far being vague with me. SMS = Strategic Management Services ... what their company does sounds pretty vague, probably a mergers and acquisitions co.
