My husband tried to call this number back with my phone (cuz that was the number he was texting) and told him to stop texting (with voicemail as the person did not pick up of course).....and he texted back and said Okay. No more texts. So maybe it works.....we will see
This same thing happened to me. The number called me, I answered and then hung up immediately. Right after I got a text message saying "Hi". I looked up the number online with no success. After I saw the other posting I immediately went to Verizon's website and blocked the number.
Called my wifes phone number. Then texted saying "is this a girl" and my wife didn't respond. Texted immediately again "is this a girl" then texted again "hold old are you"
I finally called him back letting him know "the cops will be on your doorstep if you think about texting again, do you understand me" - could just here him breathing in background and he hung up.
I got a message back "Yes" (I understand)...........2 minutes later "Sorry"
